He served as Chief Resident during his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where he also worked as a Clinical Instructor. He furthered his involvement as an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, nurturing the next generation of medical professionals.
